This website has been developed to record biographical details of the 359 men commemorated by the memorial to the men of Chelmsford, Essex, England who fell in the Great War (later known as the First World War).

The website is very much work in progress and it is hoped that it will be regularly updated (and corrected!) as my research continues and visitors to the site, particularly those with connections to the men, provide further details and photographs of those commemorated.
