Arthur Richard Marson King was a Londoner whose mother died when he was in infancy. He was married by 1940 and is thought to have had a son. He died in a Hertfordshire hospital in November 1940.

Arthur was born in Pimilico, London in 1898, the son of Arthur Marson King and Winifred King,

The 1901 census found him, aged three, living with his widowed father (then a 34 year-old coal porter) at 92 Kambella Road in Battersea, London.

By 1940 he had married Elsie Evelyn and the couple are thought to have had a son.

Arthur died at Hill End Hospital in St. Alban's Hertfordshire on 9th November 1940. His home was at 43 First Avenue in Chelmsford.

He was buried at St. Alban's (Hatfield Road) Cemetery in Section L, Row C, Grave 27.
